Smith & Sons Fuels is a C.O.D company. We accept cash, check, ach, credit card, & NYS HEAP. We DO NOT charge extra for credit card use.

We are open Monday - Friday 9am to 4pm during the heating season. We have 24/7 emergency deliveries available ($125 fee applies). 

December -March we suggest you order at least 1 week ahead to avoid an emergency fee. 

Your account number is a 4 digit number. It is located on your yellow invoice right under your zone day and tank size. If you have trouble finding it please call. 

Changes must be made 48 hours in advance. We often cannot get a hold of the drivers in time to make changes. If you need to change your order the day of delivery, put a large note around the fill for the drivers and call us.

We are a COD company but you can pre-pay year round to build a credit. 

We offer pre-payment plans April-August that allow customers to pre-pay in the summer to offset the cost of fuel during the winter months. Fuel prices fluctuate everyday so we don't want to estimate you in at a higher set price per gallon but we can allow you to decide (or we can provide you with an estimate like $225/month) how much you want to pay ahead each month. Then we will credit your account like a savings account.

We do not have an inhouse service department but please call to see who we recommend in your area. 

Yes! However, December-March new customers may need to expect a 2 week wait for delivery, especially if we have had recent storms delay deliveries.
